Sidwell is a former liberation struggle activist in the different formations of the South African liberation struggle: Student, Youth, Civic and an Ecumenical leader grounded in social justice. He holds a BA Honours in Human Resource Development, an M Phil in Spirituality and a PHD focusing on racial integration. He is a passionate trainer, speaker, coach, retreat leader who has presented at international platforms. He is an ardent proponent of a spirituality that balances the contemplative and social action.
