I am a seeker of life, searching for anything that can aid in the transformation of life. Life has led me to encounter mindfulness and Nonviolent Communication, and I deeply appreciate how it can help people transform and awaken!
Since encountering life challenges in 1999, I embarked on a journey of inner transformation. In 2000, I came across mindfulness, and in 2001, I met a Zen master
Thich Nhat Hanh
. Since then, Plum Village has become a spiritual home for me and my daughter. I have nurtured my daughter‘s growth with mindfulness, and in 2013, we co-authored the book “Plum Village Wake Up Girl.”
Since 2002, I have introduced mindfulness into the secondary school where I used to teach. From 2011 to 2017, I was invited to work at “Spiritual Education Project at the Chinese University of Hong Kong,” training secondary teachers and students in mindfulness and integrating mindfulness into education.
In 2014, I encountered nonviolent communication and was pleasantly surprised to discover that mindfulness and Nonviolent Communication are like the wings of a bird or the inner and outer skills of martial arts, containing each other. In 2017, I founded “Mindful Joyful Living” with the aim of combining mindfulness and nonviolent communication and sharing “Nonviolent Mindful Communication” with the public. With the assistance of
Father Chris
, we collaborated in exploration and development, organizing workshops. In 2021, we co-authored the book “Nonviolent Mindful Communication Let Life Flow” and launched a series of related personal growth and mentor training courses to help people transform and awaken.
I will continue to cultivate and focus on the spiritual aspect of Nonviolent Mindful Communication and inner work, guiding people on the path of transformation and awakening.
