I came across NVC on the road to compassionate education on which I’m still navigating. Before crossing its path, I was an adept of the interpersonal relationships and communication paradigm in which certain people, by virtue of their role or function, have power over others… and exercise it clumsily, sometimes even tragically, without any awareness of the impact this can have on others as well as on themselves.
NVC has been a skill and a know-how that has enabled me to become aware of the consequences of this educational model and that has enabled me to save my relationship with my daughters but also all those I was losing, year after year, in my personal and professional environment.
During my last few years of career in company, I was able to experience all the virtues of NVC in organisations. It’s for all these reasons that I’m now working, with all my energy and determination, to transmit NVC in the field of parenting and in companies.
