I have completed the Nonviolent Communication trainer training offered by the French-speaking association A-Certif . I am also an NVC mediator specialized in organizations (institutes, associations, NGOs), trained by the Institut des médiateurs CNV Emergence (France). I worked as a researcher in plant ecology for almost 40 years in French-speaking Africa, particularly in the Sahel, where I was born and grew up.
I began training in NVC in 2014 and have been deepening ever since. Drawing on my own experience, I am deeply convinced that this form of communication can help us to (re)build and cultivate a bond of cooperation that leads us to dare to assert our values and needs while taking care of those of others, especially in multicultural societies where conflicts are most intense.
Today, I use NVC to support and train people in Africa and France. It‘s my way of helping to build the world I would like to live in, a world where everyone assumes their responsibilities by making choices in full awareness of their consequences for themselves and for others.
