I am a Nonviolent Communication (NVC) trainer based in Finland. I share NVC through community events and workshops alongside my work in the social services field. I came into NVC at a very young age, and over time, it became my way of understanding the world. What has inspired me most, and still does, is the depth of connection NVC has opened up for me, both in relation to others and to myself.
I am passionate about supporting and growing NVC communities in Finland. I am actively involved in the Finnish NVC Association, and I have been organizing NVC family camps for the past ten years. I want to contribute to a future where children learn NVC from an early age, feelings and needs awareness, as well as constructive, connection-building ways of handling conflicts. It would be wonderful to even be involved in founding an NVC-based daycare or school in Finland someday.
In trainings and other events, participants often share that my way of sharing NVC supports their needs for authenticity, clarity, care and humour.
