Ethan Wells

Ethan integrates contemplative practice, artificial intelligence, and developmental theory in service of collective transformation. With a master’s in engineering from UC Berkeley focused on machine learning and AI, his path moved from Silicon Valley startups toward the sacred—spending eight months in the Peruvian Amazon training under Maestro Hamilton Souther in ceremonial plant medicine facilitation.

Based in Boulder, Colorado, he serves as student, colleague, and facilitator at Planetary Dharma, working with Dr. John Churchill and Nicole Churchill. This apprenticeship shapes his approach to technology as developmental ally rather than mere utility.

Ethan’s work emerges from urgent recognition: AI is accelerating us—but toward what? He designs courses and containers exploring conscious relationship with AI, teaching that how we meet this technology—with presence, discernment, and heart—will determine whether it catalyzes liberation or amplifies fear.
