Eliane Geren

Eliane Geren first learned about NVC in 1992 and realized it contained the keys to authentic and life-serving communication.

Eliane has a vision of a world where we see our interconnectedness with all life and where we seek to live in balance and harmony. “In this vision I see us living full lives, with joys and sorrows, and with the wherewithal to embrace both. Taking steps in that direction serves humanity and other forms of life.”

Now semi-retired, she shares NVC tools and concepts in small groups (usually on Zoom), andoffers individual empathy sessions to people interested in learning or deepening the skills of Nonviolent Communication.

Eliane Geren is a certified trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication and has been sharing what she has learned in a variety of settings since 2001. She loves human diversity and supporting people in connecting across their differences. Her passion is offering tools that help people connect effectively with themselves and others and to develop the consciousness that enables them to live life fully. Eliane values keeping her heart open, and she welcomes emotionally challenging situations.
