I became a Nonviolent Communication (NVC) trainer because Dr. Marshall Rosenberg’s teachings have been transformative for me. I have also witnessed their impact firsthand in the lives of the people I work with. Making NVC more widely available through my practice is my way of contributing to a more peaceful world.
When I offer NVC training, I strive to create a space of genuine safety and respect, where participants learn together by relating NVC to their life experiences. I believe we are all survivors, and everyone has wisdom to share. I hold that awareness humbly and learn as much as I teach when I share NVC.
Participants in my trainings often report:
- Deeper understanding of themselves and others.
- Closer relationships with the people they love.
- More confidence expressing themselves constructively.
- More ease listening to difficult messages.
- More ease collaborating with others.
- New strategies for personal growth.
I spent my formative years in Brazil and have been in the United States for the second part of my life. My values and worldview are shaped by both the Global South and Global North perspectives. I have a career in the corporate world, which gives me the opportunity to model nonviolence in a business setting every day. My cultural and professional backgrounds bring a practical dimension to my NVC teachings and allow me to naturally build bridges across differences. I hope to cross paths with you down the road!
