After starting a social project in Venezuela supporting communities to grow organic food, I realized how important it was to have communicational tools that would allow us to collaborate so that initiatives like this one could thrive. Back then, I wanted to explore the relationship between inner change and social change, and that exploration led me to discover Miki Kashtan ‘s work. Within her work, I discovered the potential of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in the social change area and how, through NVC principles, we could create collaborative systems that would work for all, systems that could support projects, like the one I started, to thrive and increase the possibilities of having bigger imprints in the respective areas of social change they engage with.

Now I’m a member of the Nonviolent Global Liberation Online Community, continuously learning through experiments we do in the community, how to apply NVC with a systemic lens to co-create systems and structures that work for all. Part of my vision is to support communities, organizations, and groups that are working on transforming the social and environmental challenges of our times, and who want to do their part in creating a world that truly works for all. I envision supporting them by co-creating collaborative systems and through processes that help them find collaborative solutions to the toughest challenges of our time. I want to help them transcend polarization so they can thrive and move towards a vision of a world that works for all.

Part of my purpose is also to support individuals to connect with their inner power and take action towards more sustainable ways of being as they put their energy to the service of the whole. Besides Nonviolent Communication, I draw on a number of approaches in my work, including Convergent Facilitation, Weaving Togetherness Skills, and Internal Family Systems.
