“9 Paths to Transformation and Change”–Inhabiting your Body, Heart, and Head Center and Walking in the Skin and Soul of Each Type

This workshop will help students, couples, individuals in the helping professions, and those seeking deeper wisdom and change to understand the emotional triggers and mental distortions associated with the 9 Enneagram types, as well as their capacity for transformation. They will understand how the types unconsciously sabotage or make their lives more difficult when under stress. And how individuals can stay present and transform their reactive type-specific patterns into healthy expressions of presence, creativity, and connection with others. Understanding one’s Enneagram type patterns creates a bridge to intimacy and loving connections with oneself and others, whether in relationships, the pursuit of life goals, or the ability to create a life of well-being and change. Participants will experience a deeper understanding and compassion for the psychological and emotional mechanisms that challenge each of the types, and clarity for how each person reactively defends themselves from hurt, shame, and fear.

The workshop will provide tools and practices that assist each of the 9 types in coming forth with their authenticity and full capacity, and the awareness of how to change and transform their type patterns and their lives. The Wake-up Call of each type will be addressed (the core Enneagram pattern that sets each type into unconscious reactivity), along with the Basic Fears and the mental and emotional type-specific distortion patterns of each type. You will learn what each type needs to feel supported, empowered, seen, and valued. Pathways to change and transformation for each type will be identified and understood.

Participants will be guided to use the Enneagram as a profound and practical tool to understand their core psychological and emotional patterns. We will feature exercises as well as music, meditations, and practices that will help bring greater self-awareness and presence to our inquiry.
