Empathic Communication • Connection • Creativity

What is Nonviolent Communication (NVC)?
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is both a communication practice and a life philosophy that helps us connect deeply with ourselves and with others.
It is based on empathy, authentic expression, active listening, and respect for everyone’s needs.

NVC offers tools for:
Better conflict management
Deeper and more meaningful relationships
Creative collaboration
Self-awareness & emotional growth
NVC supports harmonious living in all areas of life:
Personal & family life
Professional relationships & collaborations
Relationships between different cultures, religions & nations
Relationship with ourselves

What the Festival Will Include
The Nonviolent Communication Festival in Athens will be a full-day experience filled with learning, action, and connection:
Interactive games introducing NVC through humor and real-life examples
Workshops & experiential activities
Talks and presentations by NVC specialists
Connection & sharing circles
Books, materials & information for those who want to learn more

Our Vision: Building a Strong NVC Community in Greece
Our vision is to create a united, vibrant, and dynamic NVC community in Greece, where people of all ages, professions, and backgrounds can learn, share, and grow through empathy and connection.

We want NVC to spread:
In schools & education — so children grow up with tools for peaceful communication
In organizations & public institutions — for healthier work environments and better conflict resolution
Among professionals & teams — so communication becomes a bridge, not a barrier
In society as a whole — for a culture of understanding and human connection

The festival is only the beginning.
We are building an open, ongoing, and participatory community where more people can access and practice Nonviolent Communication.
