Summary
This experiential, introductory workshop offers mental health professionals an opportunity to explore the foundations of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model and its application with military personnel, veterans, and their families. Amy Marcotte, IFS Lead Trainer and U.S. Veteran, will explore how IFS‘s non-pathologizing approach, grounded in the belief that there are no bad parts, can help clients heal trauma, resolve inner conflict, and improve the quality of their relationships. Participants will experience the model firsthand while gaining practical tools for working with attachment wounds, traumatic experiences, and protective parts, while learning how to support greater Self-leadership and internal balance.

Who is this event for?
This workshop is intended for mental health professionals and helping professionals who work with military personnel, veterans, and their families. While the training highlights applications of Internal Family Systems (IFS) with military and veteran populations, the material is also relevant for professionals working with a broad range of clients.
Designed as an introduction to the IFS model, the program is appropriate for both beginners and those with prior experience with IFS. A foundational understanding of psychotherapy practice is recommended.
