The Future Human is already present within and around us but we are still growing into this reality. The future human will grow and be different in three major ways:
- REALITY: From dead to alive: The universe is a unified, living system. We can discover our deep unity with aliveness. If the universe is dead at the foundations, exploit it. If it is alive, care for it and connect with it. We are an intimate part and partner in cosmic aliveness.
- IDENTITY: From an existential experience of an isolated bio-material identity in a non-living material universe to the richness of experiencing the aliveness within which we are immersed and into which we are forever growing.
- JOURNEY: We are learning to live in a living universe. We are shifting from the separation and material striving characteristic of the paradigm of a dead universe to communion and collaboration characteristic of the living universe. If the universe is dead, then exploit it. If the universe is alive, then connect with and care for it.
The future human will be new in three major ways that will transform ourselves and the world.
