I am a jazz flugelhornist and composer, Integral Theorist and author, pedagogue and change visionary.
My talk, “Improvisation, Consciousness, Education and the Future,” will be an interactive session that bridges the various areas of my work and is inspired by my book, Improvisation, Creativity and Consciousness—the first to apply principles of Integral Theory to music.
I will intersperse short improvisations with discussion of a newly formed organization, International Consortium for Academic and Societal Transformation, and its 16 Pillars of integral dialogue and action.
These include Post-materialist Consciousness/Spiritulaity, Ecosustainability/ecoflourishing, Noetic Arts Advocacy, Post-DEI Noetic Pluralism, Integral Afrofuturism, Transcending Ideological and Political Divides, Noetic Sport, Artificial Intelligence, Peace Building and Changing the Narrative on Change Itself.
