My doctoral research in progress is a narrative study with scholars about their experiences teaching perspectives on consciousness beyond the brain in university settings. Participants include scholars from diverse cultural and philosophical orientations, including scholars informed by Western, Eastern, and Indigenous perspectives. By May, I will be deep into data analysis and writing my dissertation. I would like to offer conference attendees an interactive experience of Consciousness Education–education about perspectives on the source and nature of consciousness and their implications for ways of being, knowing, teaching, and learning–inspired by my research findings. This will be an opportunity to share, experiment with, and provide feedback on learning activities that promote consciousness education.
