WORKSHOP

Can ‘Awe’ Spark a Social Revolution? Practices for the Reformation of Culture

In this workshop, existential-humanistic psychologist Kirk Schneider–author of The Polarized

Mind and Awakening to Awe– will propose that restoring awe to our emotional landscape can be a potent antidote to our destructive cycle.

A real-life dialogue he facilitated between an African American activist and a Caucasian police officer will be

shown and discussed. of civil unrest,

Awe-based principles– humility and wonder, in the adventure of everyday life– offer ways of resolving conflict with diverse people and politics. 5 CEs
