Integral

Just like last months Study Group meeting, the focus this month will be on ‘Integral Business’.

Last month Dan Noble and I met and talked about the ideas in the paper ‘Integral Business and Leadership, an Introduction’. Dan has a lot of experience in this area and it was very interesting to hear first hand how he has introduced some of these concepts to people in his various business ventures.

At our next meeting on Oct 5th we will be discussing the paper ‘Integral Business and Leadership, an Intermediate Overview’ which expands on the Intro paper. This paper includes applying ‘Levels and Lines’ and well as ‘Types’ in the business world, it’s very well written.

Once you stat thinking about it, there are so many examples that come to mind where non-integral action has failed to live up to expectations. Come meet with us and we can give examples from our own work lives.

Just the other day I introduced 2 of my co-workers to Ken’s work and gave some examples of using the 4 Quadrants and the lines of development at our workplace. They really got how fragmented we are in our operations and management and want to learn more. I was pretty amazed at how quickly they ‘got it’.

Please download and read ‘Integral Business and Leadership, an Intermediate Overview’ before the meeting.
